The MV Skorpios II was built in 1988 and sails under the Chilean flag. Renovated in 2012, the ship is a comfortable sailing vessel. Her sleek exterior and small size makes her ideal for sailing the narrow fjords of Patagonia.
The Skorpios II comfortably sleeps up to 106 passengers in 53 different state rooms, which are distributed across 5 decks. Each cabin offers twin, double, or king-sized beds, and feature private toilet facilities, plasma TV and background music. The ship has two comfortable lounges, and an ample dining room.
The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
