Lammer
Law
Lammer Law offers lots of space and comfort for a
naturalist and diving Galapagos cruise. Attractive and functional,
there are 8 very roomy cabins for 16 passengers, either double beds
or two twin beds. Each cabin has private facilities with fresh,
hot and cold water showers.
The main salon is large, complete with
bar, cozy sofas, TV/VCR and stereo and this is where passengers
will gather each evening to be briefed on the next day's activities,
watch a film, enjoy a drink at the bar, or just to relax. All meals
will be served outside; the dining area is located in the stern
of the yacht.
The sun deck on Lammer Law is
fantastic, and consists of the whole exterior area of the yacht.
It has lots of space to sunbathe, read a book, take pictures and
just enjoy.
Galapagos Experience
Arrive mid-day at Baltra Airport from your TAME
Boeing 727 three-hour flight from mainland Ecuador (the islands
are in the Pacific Ocean 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador)
Upon
arrival you will be met by your National Park Certified Naturalist
Guide, who will be with you for your entire Galapagos Cruise
Your Naturalist Guide will escort you
on a bus for the short drive from the airport to the pier where
you will board your home for the next week, M/S Lammer Law
After lunch onboard, and within hours
of your arrival to the islands, you will make the first of many
land visits
Your Naturalist Guide will always be
with you, escorting you on land visits, lecturing each evening,
and accompanying you on snorkeling excursions and panga rides
With the exception of the town of Puerto
Ayora (Santa Cruz Island) the itinerary will typically include visits
to at least 8 uninhabited islands of the Galapagos National Park
system, each with different and diverse flora and fauna
Your naturalist itinerary cruise (8 day
7 night) generally provides for two land visits a day (each land
visit is typically 2-3 hours long) plus swimming and snorkeling
opportunities
Should you be on a diving itinerary,
each day will offer an average of two dives per day plus some land
visits
Each evening your Naturalist Guide give
a briefing on all aspects of the Galapagos and the next day activity
schedule
Each day will offer the opportunity to
observe up close the amazing animals and birds which inhabit these
islands (and have no fear of humans) such as giant tortoises, marine
and land iguanas, sea lions, red and blue footed boobies, frigate
birds, Darwin finches, turtles, flightless cormorants and penguins
Last day of the voyage return to Baltra
for flight to Quito (or Guayaquil) via TAME Boeing 727
