We had an amazing trip and were truly impressed at how smoothly and professionally everything went. Right from the start, not only did our driver get us from the airport to our hotel in Quito, but he gave us tons of information about Ecuador, the region, current events, and all kinds of helpful background along the way. And we loved Hotel Patio Andaluz! Our guide (and driver) for the city tour the following day were wonderful and very flexible, carefully avoiding all the disruption in town due to May Day. But the Galapagos portion--the main event--was the best! The Eco Galaxy was the perfect size (16 passengers) for small group adventure, but still a variety of people. The crew on the boat were great and very attentive to all our needs and our safety, and our nature guide, Renny, was fun, informative, and very knowledgeable. We did two trips back to back, and that was the perfect length to see a wide variety of wildlife and sites, but not too long. Thanks to Adventure Life for the amazing trip! We were extremely impressed at how smoothly everything went and felt completely looked after and well-taken care of from start to finish!

JC at Machu Picchu was so knowledgeable, fun loving and great at assessing our acclamation to the high altitude. He also gave us insight into Peru culture past and present and seemed to be connected to everyone - got us through everyone very fast. Helped us reach our goal of climbing Huayna Picchu. Loved the accommodations as well. At Tambopata in the Amazon, Jiar was an outstanding guide - found animals and birds that were hidden and could identify just about everything. The food and accommodations were great. Loved the whole trip and everything was seamless! Would highly recommend.

Great trip. Juan Carlos & Yair were fantastic guides. Both did a remarkable job sharing their expertise and knowledge. They also did a great job of "pacing" for our specific group.

From start to finish, this was a perfect trip. Everything was 5 star: the ship, the staff, the excursions- everything.

The fact that we had a brand new boat, all the passengers knew one another and we had a fantastic guide made the overall trip unique and it would likely be impossible to duplicate. Mary Rose was excellent in her efforts to answer all of our questions, as well as arranging the relatively last minute dinner in Quito to and from the airport. Santiago the driver for this excursion was great and if I ever go back to Quito, he would be the fellow I would want to get me around. His English was excellent, he was fun and informative and very helpful.

This was a trip of a lifetime - it exceeded all my expectations. The ship’s crew were amazing, extremely friendly and courteous , nonjudgmental when I had difficulties. They were extremely concerned with our safety but still making sure we enjoyed every adventure. Our tour guide Ale was superb - she obviously loved what she was doing ,was knowledgeable and shared that knowledge in a fun way. Five stars is not a high enough rating - she went above and beyond to fulfill everyone’s wish list even getting me a non swimming water fearing person into the ocean to enjoy the snorkeling.

This was a trip of our lifetime...I cant stop thinking about just how wonderful it was. Pretty sure nothing can top it. So many thanks for helping to organize our time in Ecuador and Galapagos. Ale...You are the best, I will always remember your joyful smile and eagerness to show us your islands.

A terrific trip from start to finish! Alejandra, our guide, couldn’t have been more informative, interesting and interested. She was solicitous and thoughtful, and a fountain of knowledge. We felt very well looked after by her as well as the Angel’s crews.

The trip was incredible and far exceeded our expectations.

Everything was wonderful. Every connection went very smoothly. Every guide was on time, very knowledgeable, very friendly and very accommodating.

Everything was excellent but our naturalist guide Pepe deserves special mention. We couldn't have wished for a better guide. He explained everything to us extremely well both before and during the excursions and had a wonderful rapport with all of us. Diego in Quito was also very good and all the crew on the Cormorant II were great

Everything was well organized ... accommodations and guides were great.

We really enjoyed sailing on the Star Clipper. It was a unique experience with the wind in the sails and the motion of the ship with the waves.The crew was first class in everything they did for us!Every meal was great with so many choices. We met many incredible people and are looking forward to getting together with some of them in the near future.

Our guide was excellent. She had everything that we needed to keep the trip running smooth. Our trip was perfect in large part to her.

The trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands was fantastic. The guide in Ecuador (Leonardo) was great. He spoke good English and took us all over. It would take pages to tell all we did and saw. The Galapagos were on my bucket list. The accommodations on the yacht Bonito were excellent. The food was tasty and plentiful. We met some very nice fellow travelers. Alex, our naturalist, was so knowledgeable and kept the whole trip interesting. The smaller yacht (14 people) made you feel like family. I can’t say enough about the crew getting us fed, ready to snorkel, or taking us out in the pangas. Of course the islands with all the different birds, animals, fish and geology. What a great trip!

Yaritza was an excellent guide. She was knowledgeable, helpful, kind, easy to communicate with, and overall made our trip great!

Easter Island was awesome! Our guide, Nicolas was amazing! He was the perfect guide, he knew everything, had been everywhere and done everything on Rapa Nui. Perfect trip, zero complaints.

Trip was outstanding! We were unsure what to expect but everything was very well done. Ship and accommodations were comfortable and well appointed; staff and tours were very friendly and well organized; itinerary included a good variety of locations and activities from small towns to major cities with informative local tours and time for individual exploration. We were on the first cruise of the season and there were only 17 passengers versus a capacity of 36; lots of time to get to know our fellow travelers from around the world.

It was simply amazing! The best part was the days in Brush. Wild and no people, simple and challenging and gorgeous. The W trek was also wonderful but more civilized. Amazing campings, food guide and great porters and amazing treks. Loved every minute.
