Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to coordinate our trips. Operations coordinators provide direct customer service and manage logistics from the time travelers register for their trip until they return home. This is an office position in Missoula, MT, that requires excellent organization and communication skills. Each day entails managing several dozen e-mails with overseas outfitters, conversing with clients about upcoming trips, and continual research to stay informed about the destinations. Problem-solving and customer service skills are necessary. Other responsibilities include assisting in the daily routine of making the office run (answering phones, filing, client mailings). Excellent writing skills, multitasking abilities and self-motivation are all key characteristics of a successful Operations Coordinator. Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher

Currently, our team is on the search for a highly motivated and personable individual to be the initial point of communication for travelers with our company. Connect with travelers in a variety of ways and form a bridge to the best expert Trip Planner for their worldwide adventure. Succeed in this position and be considered for advancement to Trip Planner after adequate training in our systems and destinations.

Due to the nature of the job, we give preference to candidates who have traveled extensively or have lived internationally. A candid enthusiasm for global travel and an eagerness to learn about our worldwide destinations is also essential to this position. Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and computer fluency are also necessary. While our team thoroughly enjoys the great outdoors, please realize that this is an office position in Missoula, MT, requiring a minimum of 40-45 hours per week.

Compensation/Benefits
Base + Commission - Total compensation for the 1st year has been in the range of $34,000-$44,000, for the 2nd year the range is $38,000-$54,000, and for the 3rd year has ranged between $43,000 and $60,000+ depending on employee performance in the role.

Adventure Life is looking for cheerful and motivated individuals to assist in the daily operations of our Missoula, MT, office. The wide range of duties includes assisting with answering phones and online chats, greeting guests, filing, assembling client mailings, database entry, website updating and other necessary tasks throughout the day. This position demands flexibility and troubleshooting on your feet. The Administrative Assistant will also work with each department on various time-sensitive projects including researching for new initiatives, training staff in office programs and running errands for managers and the CEO. Multitasking abilities and a positive attitude are crucial characteristics of a successful Administrative Assistant, in addition to excellent organizational and writing skills.

This is a full-time position and requires 40 hours per week. Training in the first few weeks will take place M-F from 8:30-5:30. The schedule will then be determined based on need within the office hours of M-F 7am-7pm and Saturday 8am-3pm. Some overtime may be required during busy seasons or for special projects.
