Day 3: Cairo | Grand Egyptian Museum | Fly to Aswan
Begin the day with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum near the Giza Plateau. Known as the largest archaeological museum in the world, it showcases artifacts from ancient Egypt through to the Greco-Roman era. Though not all sections are open, the visit offers a strong overview of Egypt’s historical timeline and views of the nearby pyramids.
In the afternoon, transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Aswan in Upper Egypt. Upon arrival, meet with a local representative and transfer to your hotel.
We are very excited to share that the Grand Egyptian Museum has opened and a visit can be arranged. Please note that at this time, visitors are only allowed to visit for short periods and only a few displays are open. While King Tut's artifacts still remain at the original Egyptian Museum, we recommend keeping this visit.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
