Day 1: Langjokull Ice Cave

Langjökull, Iceland's second-largest glacier, allows visitors to explore its interior on this tour that sets out from the glacier's edge. The glacier covers an area of 953 square kilometers of seemingly unending expanses of pure white, luring visitors from all over the world. What appears to be boundless is a small portion of the island's breathtaking scenery.

At least 30 minutes before your departure time, assemble at Husafell Center all year round or at Klaki Basecamp in the summer. Before starting, pick your preferred tour category. Tours are divided into four categories for easy understanding of tour expectations: Easy, Moderate, Challenging, and Demanding. Each excursion is rated, making it simple to find one that suits your preference. Finally, enjoy a knowledgeable and fun tour with a specially trained and certified guide.
