Day 1: Arrive in Amman, Jordan

As you step off your plane at Amman Airport, you'll be greeted by our friendly team who will help you breeze through immigration and whisk you away to your hotel. Prepare to be enchanted by one of the oldest cities in the world, with a history dating back to the bronze age. While Amman is evolving into a modern metropolis, it still holds onto its unique character and fascinating past.

As you make your way from the airport to the city, take in the stunning scenery and get ready for a journey that will transport you back in time. The drive will take between 45 minutes to an hour, but it will be worth it once you arrive in the heart of Amman.

Day 2: Old City of Amman

Experience an unforgettable journey today with a tour of Amman's old city. Discover the fascinating history behind the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the most renowned archaeological sites in the city, as well as the charming Jordan Folklore Museum, Old town, and market. You'll then venture towards the vibrant Jabal al-Weibdeh neighborhood, where you'll pass by a series of art galleries, such as Darat Al-Funun and Dar Al-Anda, museums, and local antique and handcraft shops.

In the evening, indulge in a unique culinary experience at Beit Sitti. Here, you'll have the opportunity to cook and dine in a traditional Arabic style with the guidance of a Hajjeh, and then savor the delicious meal you've prepared in the comfort of a grandmother's home. 

Day 3: Jerash | Ajloun

After breakfast, leave your hotel in Amman and head north to the ancient city of Jerash (approx 1 hour drive time). Immerse yourself in the rich history of this remarkable Roman city, which is renowned for being one of the best preserved in the Middle East.

After exploring Jerash, continue your adventure by driving to Ajloun (approx 45-minute drive time), where you'll have the opportunity to visit a stunning castle that once protected the intersection of key trade and pilgrimage routes between Jerusalem, Cairo, Damascus, and Mecca. Marvel at the impressive architecture and learn about the fascinating history behind this magnificent structure.

As the day comes to a close, experience the warmth of Jordanian hospitality by visiting a local home and enjoying a mouthwatering traditional meal. Then, return to Amman to spend the night in comfort.

Day 4: Madaba | Kerak | Little Petra | Petra

After breakfast, embark on a journey to the wonders of Jordan's rich history and culture. Begin your day with a visit to Mount Nebo. Stand in awe as you gaze upon the breathtaking view that once captivated Moses as he looked out to the Promised Land. This was also the site where he was laid to rest. Continue your adventure to the charming town of Madaba, where you'll marvel at the Byzantine mosaics excavated throughout the area. Don't miss the opportunity to witness the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Lands, the 'Madaba Map'.

Next, journey south to the ancient crusader castle in Karak. Explore the maze of stone-vaulted halls and passageways and be awed by the architectural and military skills of the Crusaders. Karak was once the capital of Moab and the castle still dominates the skyline to this day. Your day concludes with a visit to the enchanting Little Petra, also known as Beidha, where the Nabateans would welcome their guests.

After an eventful day, spend the night in Petra and rest up for more adventures to come.

Day 5: Petra | Monastery Hike

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and get ready for a day of adventure at one of the most magnificent places in the world - Petra. This "Lost City" is over 2,000 years old and is a true masterpiece half as old as time. As you explore the city, marvel at the stunning caves and tombs that are carved into the rock. Take a walk through the Siq and be awed by the Treasury, a stunning entrance that guarded the ancient Nabatean city.

Make sure to take the 800+ steep steps up to "The Monastery & Ad Deir", one of the largest monuments in Petra. This impressive structure measures 47m wide by 48.3m high and was built on the model of the Khazna. However, instead of bas-reliefs, you'll find niches that house sculptures. And if you need a break, there's a Bedouin café nearby where you can enjoy some refreshments.

Petra is now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World, and you'll quickly see why as you explore its fascinating history and stunning architecture. So pack your bags, grab your camera, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure in Petra.

Day 6: Petra | Wadi Rum

Prepare an unforgettable adventure as you set out from your Petra hotel and journey south to the magnificent Wadi Rum. Get ready for an exhilarating 4-hour jeep tour that will take you through valleys, canyons, dunes, and deserts, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of this timeless landscape. Marvel at ancient rock inscriptions, gaze in awe at majestic mountains and rugged landscapes and explore narrow gorges that seem to go on forever.

After a thrilling ride, your jeep will take you back to camp where you'll be treated to a mouth-watering Bedouin dinner, followed by a mesmerizing night under the stars in the heart of the desert. The drive from Petra to Wadi Rum may take around 2 hours, but the memories you'll create during your tour will last a lifetime. So what are you waiting for? Day 7: Wadi Rum | Dead Sea

Once you arrive, immerse yourself in the buoyant waters, letting all your worries float away. Take in the stunning views, bask in the warm sun, and feel rejuvenated with an invigorating mud bath that will leave your skin feeling silky smooth. And if that's not enough, pamper yourself with the various treatments available at the spa. 

The drive from Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea takes about 4 hours.

Day 8: Dead Sea | Allenby Crossing | Jerusalem

Embark on a journey through time and faith as you explore the sacred city of Jerusalem on this unforgettable tour. Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel at the Dead Sea, followed by a scenic transfer to Allenby Crossing via VIP or Shuttle Bus (payment arranged directly). Soon, you'll arrive at the heart of Jerusalem, ready to discover its wonders.

First stop, the Mount of Olives, where you'll be treated to an awe-inspiring panoramic view of the city. Then, head to the Pater Noster to recite the Lord's Prayer in various languages- a truly moving experience.

Next, enter the Old City through the Dung Gate and make your way to the Wailing Wall, one of the most significant sites in Judaism. Admire the Haram Al Sharif and the Dome of the Rock before following the Via Dolorosa, tracing the steps of Jesus on his way to the crucifixion. Finally, arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was buried and rose again.

As your tour comes to a close, stroll through the vibrant bazaars before exiting the city through the iconic Jaffa Gate.

Day 9: Jerusalem | Bethlehem | Beit Sahour

After breakfast, depart from your hotel in Jerusalem and cross into the West Bank. Your first stop will be at the Separation Wall where you can witness the rich history of the region. Continue your adventure by venturing into Bethlehem, where you will be in awe of the magnificent Church of Nativity.

Next, we will make our way to the charming Shepherd's Fields in Beit Sahour. You will have the opportunity to learn about the heartwarming biblical story that took place in this location. Before moving on to our next destination, we will give you the choice of visiting either the fascinating Mahane Yehuda Market, the poignant Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Museum), or the highly acclaimed Israel Museum where you can feast your eyes on the Dead Sea Scrolls. Be sure to let your knowledgeable guide know your preference, and please note that museums may close earlier on certain days.

As the day continues, you will drive through the bustling New City of Jerusalem, where you can delve deeper into the city's liveliness and charm. Take some time to wander through the vibrant markets, and immerse yourself in the local culture. 
 

Day 10: Qumran | Masada | Jericho

Venture to the ancient land of Qumran, located on a dry plateau just a stone's throw away from the northwestern shore of the Dead Sea. This historical site is famous for being the settlement closest to the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were hidden. Get ready to be transported back in time as you explore the magnificent ruins of Masada, accessed by cable car, where the last stand of the Judean Revolt took place between 70-73 AD. Witness the remains of storehouses, cisterns, and a sixth-century Byzantine church that still stand proudly today. Finally, visit Jericho, believed to be the oldest continuously occupied city in the world, with archaeological evidence dating back to the 10th millennia BCE. 

Day 11: Jerusalem | Tel Aviv

Your journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Jerusalem, arranged directly with your driver at a time that suits you best. From there, you will be transported to the buzzing metropolis of Tel Aviv, where you will have the freedom to explore at your leisure.

Indulge in the city's rich history and culture, wander through the bustling markets and soak in the atmosphere of the charming cafes and restaurants. Discover the stunning architecture, from the unique Bauhaus buildings to the ancient structures that line the streets. The possibilities are endless!

The drive from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv takes around 1 hour.

 

Day 12: Tel Aviv | Return Home
