Day 1: Arrive in Evenes | Lyngvær

Welcome to the Lofoten Islands! After landing at Evenes Airport, meet your guide around 3:00 pm and begin the scenic three-hour drive to Lyngvær, your base for the week. Along the way, the dramatic landscapes of northern Norway unfold, with majestic fjords, shimmering lakes, and the often snow-capped peaks of Møysalen glowing in the evening light. Settle into your luxurious accommodation at Lyngvær Hytte i Lofoten, perfectly positioned for the hiking adventures ahead.

Day 2: Hike to Fløya and Djevelsporten | Svolvær

Enjoy your first day in the Lofoten Islands, but prepare yourself for an exciting journey. After a hearty breakfast, hit the road for a scenic 30-minute drive north to Svolvær. From there, lace up your boots and set off on an unforgettable hike to Fløya and the dramatic Djevelsporten. As you climb, the views explode into panoramic magic, jagged peaks, crashing waves, and fjords far below. After conquering the trail, unwind with a stroll through the colorful harbor town of Svolvær, and reward yourself with a cozy café stop before heading back to your base for the night.

Day 3: Hike to Matmora

Today, get ready to cross the Matmora. This breathtaking mountain hike on Austvågøy offers unforgettable views and is one of the most beautiful tours in the Lofoten Islands. During the hike, discover new perspectives of the stunning Norwegian landscape and the Norwegian Sea before reaching the summit of Matmora. The steep descent takes us past a lake to the road. After the hike, visit a cozy café for a rewarding day.

Day 4: Festvågtind | Henningsvaer

After yesterday's long day on the mountain, combine the spectacular views and sightseeing. A short drive from the accommodation leads to the picturesque fishing village of Henningsvaer, which is also known as the climbing Mecca of the Lofoten Islands.

Here, the path leads steeply up to Festvågtinden. Continue climbing steeply to the summit, passing numerous climbing routes. With an unmatched view of the countless small islands, the village of Henningsvær can be seen below from the vantage point. After the descent, visit one of the cozy cafés in Henningsvaer and enjoy the atmosphere of the Norwegian coastal village.

Day 5: Fredvang | Kvalvika Bay | Nusfjord

After breakfast, drive south to Fredvang and begin the hike to Ryten, followed by a trek to Kvalvika Bay. The bay features a white sand beach accessible only on foot, surrounded by a gorge and several lakes along the North Sea. It's an ideal spot for enjoying a picnic lunch and swimming in the sea. The day is not over yet, and on the way home, visit the small fishing village of Nusfjord, which is a kind of open-air museum.

Hiking Level: Intermediate—Steep ascents and descents, easy rocky sections and snowfields; exposed sections usually equipped with handholds. Good balance and no fear of heights! (test: standing on railings of high buildings without difficulty)

Day 6: Uttakleiv Beach

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, drive an hour south to the beach at Uttakleiv. There are several options for spending the day: take a steep hike up Himmeltindan, which has an altitude difference of over 850 meters, hike along the beach, and even swim in the North Sea. If the weather conditions turn unfavorable, consider visiting the Viking Museum and enjoying a meal at the café there.

As you ascend, the terrain becomes stark and dramatic, eventually leading to a summit marked by boulders. From here, take in sweeping views of ragged islands, wild fjords, and the remote beauty that defines Lofoten. A perfect spot for a mountaintop picnic and a moment of reflection on a truly unforgettable week.
