Day 1: Arrive in Lofoten Islands

Welcome to the Lofoten Islands! Upon arrival at Evenes Airport, gather as a group and drive to Leknes in a group transfer. Along the way, enjoy the stunning Norwegian landscapes. Make a stop for dinner at a local restaurant to savor authentic Norwegian cuisine while getting to know each other better. Afterward, settle into your accommodation for the next three days and prepare for an exciting week ahead!

Day 2: Northern Lights Photography Session

Every photo session is optional. If you prefer a relaxed approach, you are welcome to do so. With the late sunrise, it rarely gets up before 7 AM. Each day’s schedule and activities are discussed and flexibly adapted to suit the group’s energy, interests, and creative goals.

After a restful night in your wonderful accommodation, dress warmly for sunrise and photograph the Lofoten scenery in the first warm light of the day. In the far north, sunrises and sunsets last much longer, giving you plenty of time to experiment with different compositions. Depending on the group's preference, take your breakfast either before or after the photo session. Around noon, head to a photo spot for the sunset, using the time until the blue hour.

As night falls, savor a hearty meal at a local Norwegian restaurant. If the sky is clear, get ready and prepare for your first chance to photograph the Northern Lights.

The guide meets each traveler where they are, tailoring the upcoming days to match their interests, pace, and creative goals.

By midday, the group heads out for location scouting, seeking fresh angles and hidden gems. As early afternoon fades, set up once more for sunset, following a rhythm similar to the previous day. Today also brings a new highlight: a first photo editing seminar to refine your craft. And if the skies cooperate, the late evening holds the thrilling possibility of chasing the Northern Lights.

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
