1.- Are electrical outlets available in the cabins for recharging camera batteries, etc…?
Yes, there is electrical power in the cabins.
2.- What voltage is it on the boat?
The voltage is 110 watts.
3.- Do we need to use a special plug to charge our cameras?
The plugs are flat footed outlet without ground plug, maybe you will need to bring adapter.
4.- During the evenings, will there be anything on the yacht to entertain us?
There is a DVD player on board with a flat screen TV, so the passengers could watch some movies or videos about the Galapagos nature. We also have some books to read about the Galapagos Islands and other. A couple of family board games. Most of the passengers (adults) really enjoy the bar service in the evening.
5.- For the breakfasts, what type of breakfasts will they traditionally serve?
The breakfast is buffet style with fruit, cereal, milk, yogurt, fresh juice, different types of cheese, meats and sausages, eggs, white and integral bread.
6.- What will the meals be like in general, on the boat?
For lunch we have buffet style and for dinner there is menu style always with 2 options of salads, meat, fish or chicken. For dinner menu the passengers could choose between two options. For vegetarian or another special dietary please notify in advance.
7.- Are there medical services on the boat?
There is no doctor on board, but all the crew and the guide got first aid certificate, there is a first aid kit on board. Additionally, there is a procedure for emergencies that passengers will know the first day when the guide explains the zafarrancho. If any passenger needs urgent medical assistance they will be transfer to the hospital at the closest port in the Islas which be in Santa Cruz or San Cristobal.
8.- Are hairdryers available in the cabins?
Yes, there are hairdryers in the cabins.
9.- How many towels are provided in each cabin for each day on Monserrat?
We provide 3 towels per person (bath towel, hand towel, wash cloth).
10.- Does Monserrat provide towels for snorkeling also? Or, only towels for showers? Should passengers bring their own towels for snorkeling?
Monserrat provide all towels even towels to take off ship (passengers should bring the towels back to the yacht), Passengers won’t need to bring their own towels to Monserrat.
11.- Is there internet service on the Monserrat?
There is no internet service on Monserrat.
12.- What type of clothes storage is available in the cabins? Are there drawers? Is there a closet at all where people can hang clothes? Where will they store suitcases?
There is a closet 80 x 60 x 180 cm approximately at every cabin. There are drawers under beds; there are some clothes hangers inside the closet. There is enough space in closet to store the suitcase; otherwise they can let it in the cabin. Biggest bag size they should bring is 80 x 60 cm.
13.- What are the cabins' sizes?
The average sizes are the following:

Cabin: 3,21 m x 2,32 m Bathroom: 2,32 m x 0,96 m Total: 4,17 m x 2,32
LOWER DECK CABINS – MATRIMONIAL
Cabin: 3,40 m x 2,02 m Bathroom: 2,02 m x 1,03 m Total: 4,43 m x 2,02
UPPER DECK CABINS
Cabin: 2,99 m x 2,17 m Bathroom: 2,32 m x 0,90 m Total: 3,89 m x 2,17

Adventure Life planned a stunner of a trip for our family ONCE AGAIN! This is our 7th trip with Adventure Life. We chose the Chile North to South adventure with add-ons of Magdalena Island to see the penguins; Las Torres hotel in Patagonia; Calafate, Argentina to see the Perito Moreno glacier and finally, Buenos Aires. We were active every day! Biking in vineyards, trekking at 14,000 ft above sea level and seeing vicuña and vizcacha everywhere after having almost the entire El Tatio geyser park to ourselves, an evening tour viewing the stars and galaxies in the Atacama Desert, River Rafting and hiking between volcanoes and glacial lakes in the mountain lake region of Peurto Varas, hiking the French Valley, Las Torres and riding horses in Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, walking on the glacier and drinking glacial water and hearing those thunderous booms of ice calving at Perito Moreno in Calafate, Argentina and biking 30 miles through Buenos Aires to the suburbs where we kayaked the Tigre River Delta. So much fun!! I even wore my adult children out!!
