From Lahia Tented Lodge, you can experience the natural beauty of the Serengeti. The central Serengeti, Olduvai Gorge, Seronera Valley, the Grumeti River and the famous Maasai Kopjes are all within reach from the camp, which is situated on a hill overlooking the central Serengeti.

The main lodge offers a unique 360° panoramic view of the landscape. There are lounges, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a swimming pool. It has been furnished in a contemporary African design, creating a light and airy ambience that is comfortable and luxurious. Guests can view the spectacle of the Great Migration from the comfort of their elegant tents on raised wooden platforms.

Each evening a campfire is lit and guests can enjoy drinks and appetizers while watching the sunset. Dinner is served outside under the stars, weather permitting.

Hot Air Balloon
Start the day on a high note by soaring above the plains in a hot-air balloon. As the sun rises, watch the herds of elephants from above and admire the unspoiled landscape. Hot-air balloon rides are at an additional cost and are weather dependent. The flight length varies between 50 to 90 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. Bush breakfast after landing.

Visit ethnic groups
Tanzania has a great variety of tribes and ethnic groups. Tribes like Hadzabe, Datoga, Masai, Wairak and other tribes can be visited from Tanganyika properties. The activity involves visiting the local ethnic group to learn about their traditions and way of life.

Gym
Relax, tone, and challenge yourself in the gym. The facilities overlook the great Serengeti plains. It includes a variety of free weights. Choose from a selection of treadmills, bikes, and elliptical trainers.
