Horse Riding

Guided trails offer opportunities to spot diverse wildlife, including the graceful Gerenuk. At Wildwaters Lodge, enjoy a scenic ride through a local village and along the Nile’s banks. For seasoned riders, adventurous overnight safaris venture into remote areas inaccessible by vehicles.

• Rides last around 2 hours, depending on pace
• Morning and afternoon rides are available at both locations
• Hamerkop House rides: 8 AM & 2:30 PM
• Wildwaters Lodge rides: 10 AM & 2 PM
• Advance booking is required to secure horses and guides

Kayaking
Take a Wildwaters Kayak Cruise on the calm waters of the White Nile, paddling around lush islands while enjoying the serene surroundings. No experience is needed, making this a perfect activity for all ages. A knowledgeable guide will share local stories and point out the diverse birdlife that thrives in this unique ecosystem. Departing directly from Wildwaters Lodge, this scenic cruise offers a peaceful way to experience the river’s beauty.

Try your luck fishing in the legendary Nile River. If you have your gear, there are plenty of great spots around Wildwaters Lodge where you can cast a line. Local fishermen, who often have the best luck, are happy to share tips on catching tilapia or the prized Nile perch.
