Moderately active but not overly strenuous. This level includes activities like casual cycling, yoga, or excursions/activities that typically last 3-5 hours total each day.
Arrive to Harare airport and connect with your flight on to Mana Main airstrip. From here transfer to your lodge, Zambezi Expeditions, also known as Zambezi Lifestyles Camp, located along the banks of the lower Zambezi River in the west part of Mana Pools National Park. The more 'adventurous' camp is set in an area known for its wildlife-rich flood plains and views of the Zambezi Escarpment on the other side of the river. Settle in for the evening.
Contact us to arrange additional nights hotel during layovers en route.
Experience the legendary Mana Pools Park with a day of wildlife viewing today. Mana Pools National Park boasts some of Africa's best canoe safari adventures where guests can paddle among elephants, hippo, buffalo, and see prolific birdlife. Combine your canoe safari with a walking safari as well. If you are a fisherman, you can try your hand at fishing these waters from the river's edge or from islands in the middle of the river. Enjoy two guided safari activities today.
Transfer on to Kanga Camp today, which is nestled along a seasonal floodplain in a private concession along the west border of Mana Pools National Park. The camp overlooks the region's only year-round water source, which attracts wildlife from all over the area during the dry season. Settle in to your Meru-tent-style safari camp this evening.
Enjoy amazing arm-chair game viewing on safari inside Mana Pools National Park, or go on a walking safari around the private concession. Early in the dry season, canoe safaris, full-day excursions on the Zambezi River, and a visit to Chitake Springs can be arranged as well. The day is yours to plan how you like.
Transfer today to the Dandawa airstrip nearby for your short flight on to the Manga airstrip. This comfortable camp offers more luxuries and is situated on a private concession in the heart of Hwange National Park. Resting near an acacia forest and on the edge of a seasonal floodplain, Somalisa looks out over savannah grasslands and offers amazing wildlife viewing, particularly of the giant elephant herds well known in Hwange. Seven sail tents are charmingly furnished with fireplaces and vintage baths with a view.
Enjoy your days at Somalisa Camp to explore Hwange National Park any way you like. Set out on game drives inside the park, or go on a guided walk around the immediate lodge area. Enjoy night drives as well to spot a different kind of wildlife who are active when you sleep. Wildlife sightings include elephant, kudu, sable-antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, buffalo, the rare roan-antelope, giraffe, leopard, lion, hyena, and many others.
Today transfer out of Hwange National Park and on to Victoria Falls town, where you finish up your Zimbabwe tour with a visit to the spectacular Victoria Falls. Fly from Manga airstrip on to Victoria Falls Town, and transfer to an area just outside the city and settle in to your new hotel, Elephant Camp. Located inside the Victoria Falls National Park, this camp consists of 12 canvas luxury tents constructed with views out over the sweeping bush. The open decks and plunge pools allow for a truly relaxing experience in the region. Included in your stay is the opportunity to enjoy sundowners overlooking the scenic Batoka Gorge.
Visit the famous Victoria Falls today with a guide from the Zimbabwe side. Walk along the boardwalks and take in this thunderous site. Enjoy lunch at the Lookout Cafe today perched high above the Zambezi River rapids and the Gorge (available upon request). Opt to take part in a zip-line canopy tour or other blood-pumping excursions here. Return to Elephant Camp this afternoon. You may participate in some on-site activiites such as interacting with the resident elephants, or possibly meeting Sylvester the cheetah on site.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).

Excellent travel advice and service
This is my second experience working with Adventure Life. I’m sold. Jess Heuermann is an experienced traveler and provides a lot of useful information when planning a trip. These are the questions I like to ask at the outset - What’s it like to go here, there, what would you suggest, what do people report, can we add any additional side trips? Jess took the time to answer my questions and seek additional information to share with me. Petchie Colina is outstanding in helping with travel logistics and final preparations. Adventure Life has excellent guides and offers private guides and small group adventures. We enjoyed the opportunity to talk with the guides and drivers to learn more about their countries, cultures and histories. A highlight was having the guides pick local restaurants where we could share meals together. Highly recommend.

Our six-day tour in Iceland went smoothly with one exception. We had asked for two rooms each night. Somehow we were booked with one room with three beds. It could not be fixed at the first hotel in Reykjavik because the hotel was fully booked. Once informed of the problem, however, Adventure Life rebooked for two rooms for the remainder of the trip. As an 85-year-old traveler, I appreciated that one could participate at different physical levels at many of the stops. Iceland is a great place to visit but on the expensive side.

Jess was very easy going and answered all our questions. It’s not easy dealing with 6 people at once but she did an outstanding job!

Kassandra and the Adventure Life team have been incredible! Kassandra was very knowledgeable and attentive to our asks while making sure we kept within our budget. This was our first experience with a travel agent and we were blown away by the booking/initial exploration service. We will use Adventure Life again.
