The guides were fantastic!! Francisco at Iguazu Falls and Filipe in Rio were particularly wonderful. Both were very knowledgeable about the areas they were guiding us to, engaged with our experience and wanting us to get the most out of the trip, they also made great suggestions for additional touring in the area. In addition to their tour guide knowledge, we appreciated that we felt safe, cared about, and respected as female travelers. Both had a great sense of humor and were fun to be around for a full day. Totally recommend them to anyone requesting guides in Iguazu or Rio. Francisco took us through the border crossing from Argentina to Brazil, making it low stress for us. Filipe made multiple suggestion for activities on our free days and was wonderful at getting us to the Rio airport for our midnight flight. The Dazzler hotel in Buenos Aires was a bit underwhelming. Room was ok, but small for 3, especially small bathroom. Staff there was great, really helpful when we had questions. Hotel in Iguazu Falls area was FANTASTIC! Beautiful setting, comfortable room, large bathroom, good A/C and even a screened in porch! It was great to hang out clothes to dry after the fun time in the boats getting showered at the falls! Restaurant and bar and swimming pool were really nice too. Arena Ipanema hotel was great too. Great location, nice room with good bathroom, good restaurant too. Staff was very helpful too. Definitely recommend this hotel for any Rio visitors.
