The Residence Douz

The Residence Douz lies in a palm grove at the edge of the Sahara, with 50 villas set among desert gardens. Its design combines modern comforts with Tunisian craftsmanship, including Tozeur brickwork, woven carpets, lanterns, and local art. Guests can ride camels to their villas, explore the resort’s organic permaculture farm, or visit the nearby Mud House for cultural activities and traditional crafts. Southern Tunisia’s dunes, oases, and Berber villages are accessible on day trips.
