Ilimanaq Lodge opened in 2023. Stays follow a 27-hour program built around gourmet dining, nature, and daily life in one of Greenland’s smallest settlements. The lodge pairs time in the village with modern comforts. Its restaurant holds a Michelin star, and the lodge describes it as the most remote Michelin-starred restaurant in the world. Meals are served in a historic building that dates from 1751. Guests stay in individual cabins built from sustainable materials and designed to blend into the surrounding landscape. The cabins look out over Disko Bay, where icebergs drift past and whales can be seen.

We have worked with Kassandra at Adventure-Life for several years. She continues to provide excellent guidance on our trips. This time, we tossed some real challenges - explicit number of days, specific itineraries and limitations on who we would prefer to sail with. She actually gave us choices !
