Longitude 131° is a camp of tented pavilions set among red sand dunes facing Uluru, with Kata Tjuta on the same horizon from parts of the property. Architect Philip Cox designed the original lodge, which opened in 2002, around a central Dune House, and architect Max Pritchard later added outdoor lounges and the Dune Pavilion. The tents are raised above the desert floor, and the whole structure is designed to be dismantled and removed, returning the dunes to their original state. The lodge occupies 2.4 ha (5.9 acres) of private land bordered by Katiti Aboriginal Land and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. It runs on renewable energy, and its Tomorrow Beckons program includes a partnership with the NPY Women's Council supporting Anangu women-led businesses.
Rooms & Suites
The lodge has tented pavilions in three categories: Luxury Tent, Luxury Tent Premium View, and a single Dune Pavilion. Each has floor-to-ceiling glass facing the desert, a balcony or deck with a daybed and fireplace, and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower. Interiors use timber, natural stone flooring, Australian-designed furnishings, and First Nations artworks, and the tents have thermal and acoustic insulation. Luxury Tents have air conditioning and fly screens. Each tent has a complimentary in-tent bar stocked with beer, wine, juice, kombucha, tea, and coffee. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property but has limited bandwidth. An accessible tent with bathroom aids is available.

Stays are all-inclusive. Rates cover all meals, an open bar with French Champagne, premium wines and spirits, the in-tent bar, signature experiences, and shared return transfers for scheduled flights at Ayers Rock Airport. The Dune House is the central building, with a restaurant, a bar, a lounge, and a terrace overlooking Uluru.
