The Louise

The Louise is set among vineyards and rolling hills on Seppeltsfield Road in Marananga, in South Australia’s Barossa Valley. Opened in 2005, the lodge is styled as a Southern European villa and is now part of the Beckons portfolio. Regional artwork, a kitchen garden, and locally sourced produce feature throughout the property. Sustainability initiatives include rainwater recycling, food-waste composting, and on-site wastewater treatment for irrigation.

Rooms & Suites
The lodge has vineyard-facing suites across three categories. Each features French doors, high ceilings, a fireplace, private walled courtyard, outdoor terrace, complimentary in-suite bar, and ensuite bathroom with spa bath, rain shower, and private outdoor shower. Wi-Fi is complimentary. One Stonewell Suite offers wheelchair and mobility access.

Hotel Amenities & Facilities
Appellation serves seasonal tasting menus using local produce, with breakfast from 7:00 AM–10:00 AM and dinner from 6:00 PM–9:00 PM. Facilities include a lounge and bar, walk-in wine cellar, infinity-edge pool, gym, cedar sauna, helipad, parking, and EV chargers. Private road and helicopter transfers from Adelaide are available at an extra cost. Children aged 10 and over are welcome.
