Camp Kuzuma Lodge

Camp Kuzuma sits in a busy wildlife corridor between Chobe National Park in Botswana and Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, an area known for its large elephant population. The camp is set under a canopy of mopane trees, with no other lodge within 25 km (15.5 mi). The main area overlooks a waterhole that draws elephants and other wildlife, so guests can view game directly from the lodge. The camp operates entirely off the grid on solar energy and uses biodegradable guest amenities as part of its aim to keep its carbon footprint low. It is part of the Hideaways group, and guests can combine a stay with Hideaways Nantwich Safari Lodge in Hwange National Park, about 2.5 to 3 hours away by road. The camp is open from April to November, and children aged 7 and older are welcome.

Rooms
The camp has seven open-plan tented suites. Each has a king-size bed with a mosquito net and a private sun deck. Fans cool the rooms, and Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. Each suite has tea and coffee facilities and a sherry station. The en-suite canvas bathrooms include a high-back Victorian bathtub, double basins, double indoor showers and an outdoor shower. Two of the tented suites are connected by a walkway for families.

Hotel Amenities & Facilities
The main area overlooks a waterhole and includes a lounge and library. Dinners are served under the stars with local African flavors, including boma dinners. An eco-pool with a rim-flow edge looks out over the waterhole, and elephants are sometimes seen drinking from it. A sunken fire pit is used for evening gatherings. The camp has a spa offering massages, facials, and hand and foot treatments. Wi-Fi is available in the main area, and a laundry service is provided.
