Day 1: Milwaukee | Lake Michigan | Embark

Day 2: Milwaukee | Lake Michigan, USA

Amid the masterfully painted lake landscapes of North America, the HANSEATIC inspiration seamlessly integrates lush nature, vivid settler stories, and exciting lock experiences. The Great Lakes, like an eighth ocean, span between the USA and Canada, surrounded by magnificent nature, welcoming coastal towns, and living cultural history. This cruise amalgamates all five lakes into one magnificent experience, commencing on Lake Michigan. Milwaukee, once a brewing hub, now boasts a vibrant cultural scene. At the Harley-Davidson Museum*, discover the origin of this iconic vehicle that has become an integral part of the American way of life and gained worldwide fame. Alternatively, explore the architectural marvel of Chicago* on the shores of Lake Michigan, either with our optional pre-cruise program or as a day excursion from Milwaukee.

Day 3: Fayette

Revel in the scenery at Gooseberry Falls and the Split Rock Lighthouse* – as water cascades down the stony steps of the Gooseberry River, the lighthouse built in 1910 keeps watch from the cliff.

Day 7: Thunder Bay | Lake Superior |Canada

Embark on a hiking adventure in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park, climbing the local landmark composed of a flat-topped mountain ridge with dramatic granite cliffs. Observe the elemental force of water in action at the "Niagara Falls of the north" while visiting historic Fort William and Kakabeka Falls, where water plunges nearly 40 meters (131 feet) into the Kaministiquia River—an amazing natural spectacle.
