Premium Safari Camp

Arctic Kingdom’s Premium Safari Camp takes its inspiration from the mobile safari camps of Africa and adapts the idea to the Arctic tundra. The camp sits in an isolated area of the Arctic wilderness, which gives travelers the chance to see the Arctic in its natural, undisturbed state. Guests stay in modern yurt-style structures built for cold conditions and gather in a central dining and lounge area around a fireplace stove. The camp setting varies, and depending on the location and time of year, it is set up either on land or directly on the ice.

Rooms & Suites
Guests stay in specially designed yurt-style structures with double insulated walls that keep the interior warm. Each yurt measures 16 ft (4.9 m) in diameter, has cathedral ceilings over 10 ft (3 m) high, and is entered through a lockable door. Yurts have either a twin or a king bed, made up with a mattress, duvets, pillows, and a warm comforter. Large windows give 360-degree views of the surroundings, and each yurt has heaters, rugs, and coat hooks. Yurts do not have private bathrooms, and guests use a shared washroom facility.

Hotel Amenities & Facilities
The camp has a large dining and lounge area with a central fireplace stove, where guests share meals and spend time between outings. A 24-hour buffet with snacks and drinks is available throughout the stay. A shared washroom facility provides sinks and showers with hot water.
