Natura Cabana

Natura Cabana Boutique Hotel and Spa was founded in 1997, when a Chilean family purchased raw beachfront land in Cabarete and built a small guesthouse from repurposed felled trees and palm frond roofing. The property has since grown into a 12 bungalow, family run boutique hotel plus two rooms beneath its onsite yoga temple. The hotel's design follows Feng Shui principles, and each bungalow is individually decorated with shells, corals, and hand drawn details on the stucco walls. The property maintains an organic garden grown without pesticides or chemicals, using neem oil for pest control, along with an aquaponics fish pond and a worm garden; produce from the garden supplies both onsite restaurants.

Room Specifications
All rooms are built in a rustic, open air style using natural materials such as bamboo, coconut wood, and palm thatch, and are naturally ventilated with ceiling fans and screened windows rather than air conditioning. Beds are dressed with mosquito nets, and most bungalows include a private deck or balcony.

• Two onsite restaurants: Karaya, open for breakfast and lunch with Dominican and internationally inspired dishes, and Natura, open for dinner from with fusion cuisine combining tropical and international flavors. Both are open-air with ocean views and offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

• Attabeyra Spa, offering massage, facial, body wrap, and scrub treatments, including outdoor and beach massages on request.
