Corales Punta Rusia

Corales is an independently run, small-scale hotel positioned as an alternative to large-resort tourism, aimed at travelers interested in nature-based recreation. The surrounding waters form part of the Monte Cristi National Park marine reserve, which includes the Cayo Arena coral atoll and more than 50 km (31 mi) of reef habitat with over 60 species of coral and sponges. The property produces most of its own energy through solar panels. Guests can arrange land- and sea-based excursions directly through the hotel, including scuba diving, snorkeling, and guided motorcycle tours to nearby natural and historic sites.
