Max Passengers: 128
Ship Type: Ice Breaker Ship
Operated By: Poseidon Expeditions

The 50 Years of Victory is the largest and most modern nuclear-powered icebreaker vessel in the world. For those with an appreciate for such vessels, the Victory is a new generation ship, an upgrade of the Arktika-class, the most powerful icebreakers in the world.

Among its state-of-the-art features are a spoon shaped bow designed for greater icebreaking ability, an automated, digitalized control system, and the most up-to-date nuclear safeguards and protection systems.

Ship Amenities
As a working Icebreaker, the Victory is vastly more suitable to life onboard than was its predecessors. Though its cabins and suites are as comfortable and spacious as those on previous ships, the Victory offers passengers much more room for socializing and get-togethers.

Among the public spaces on board there are a dining room (unreserved seating); Aft Saloon for lectures, presentations and socializing; Bar & Lounge with front views; Library & Lounge; Gym; two saunas and a swimming pool with heated sea water. There is also a clinic on board with a passenger (licensed) doctor.

Guest Accommodations
Cabins aboard the 50 Years of Victory are ample and comfortable. All the windows are opening so that travelers have the opportunity to not only see the Arctic but breathe it, or to hear it any moment. All the suites and cabins have private facilities with bathtub or shower.

Dining aboard the 50 Years of Victory
Nowadays to be Arctic explores does not mean to suffer privations. On the contrary, safe and comfort conditions enable travelers to explore the Arctic more completely with all five sense organs. Times when polar explorers had to eat dried biscuits and dried meat are gone. Only fresh products delivered for each cruise are used to prepare meals on board. All dishes are made with fresh natural ingredients.

Fine dining, deep in the Arctic might sound unlikely - yet you will find it aboard this icebreaker. Professional chef and crew creates a menu that draws on Italian, French and Russian influence. A wine list offers you the opportunity to experience a range of the finest French, Italian and Chilean wines. There is also a wide selection of spirits int eh bar including whiskey, gin, rum etc.

Registry
The 50 Years of Victory is the property of the Russian Federation and has received maritime registration under the name "50 Let Pobedy"
