Purpose-built for Galápagos exploration, the National Geographic Gemini is a shallow-draft, highly maneuverable expedition ship launched in 2001 and designed to access remote areas with ease. It carries a fleet of Mark VI Zodiacs, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, as well as snorkeling equipment and shortie wetsuits for all guests, enabling in-depth exploration of both land and sea.

Outdoor spaces include the Upper Deck, which features a whirlpool hot tub, windowed fitness center, and spa, providing relaxation with ocean views. Dining is offered in single open seating at both the outdoor café on the Lounge Deck and the restaurant on the Marina Deck, encouraging a relaxed and social atmosphere.
