She accommodates up to 12 guests in seven cabins, each with private bathrooms, lower beds, and storage space.
Shared spaces on board include a saloon and dining area with mahogany paneling, a bar, library, and tea/coffee stations. A small sauna with a cold shower is also available. Guests can spend time on several open and semi-enclosed deck areas or visit the bridge, which is open to passengers.
For landings and local exploration, M/S Balto carries two Zodiacs. A crew of seven and additional guides support navigation, safety, and guest activities. The vessel is designed for small-group travel in Arctic regions, with capacity limited to 12 passengers.
