Visit the village of Kangaaumiut towards the end of the trip, catching a glimpse of what life is like for the Greenlanders. Village life revolves around fishing, and the captain, Taatsi, knows everyone in the Village. You are surrounded by the local kids, as they regale you with fishing tales of West Greenland.
You encounter humpback whales feeding in the fiords, paralleling the path as they follow krill in the waterways. A vast array of birdlife can be found in the Mantisoq area. Cruising past bird cliffs, you can see thousands of birds soaring in the air, nesting in the cliff walls, and feasting in the Arctic Sun.
Go for a paddle in the arctic sunset, alongside glacier walls and underneath bird cliffs. Marvel at the “One Tree” in the Fiords of West Greenland, which was planted in the 1930’s and is considered the most famous tree in Greenland!
Fish from the M/S Balto and, with so many fish in the fiords, you can provide dinner for the whole group!

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
