Ship Type: Expedition Cruise Ship
Operated By: Australis

Launching in 2018, Ventus Australis is a new state-of-the-art ship carrying up to 210 passengers in 100 cabins. Its name, Latin for "Southern Winds", is a tribute to the distinctive weather of Tierra del Fuego and the remote tip of South America through which it navigates. Join Ventus Australis on a journey to Patagonia and step ashore at fabled Cape Horn.

Designed to maneuver Patagonia's narrow fjords and channels, Ventus Australis is under construction at Asenav, the internationally acclaimed Chilean shipyard. She will feature the latest regulations regarding safety at sea and protecting the marine environment.

Cabin Specifications
The 100 Ventus Australis spacious cabins are divided into five categories, all with lower beds, a picture window, private bathroom, heating, closet and safe deposit box. The majority of cabins (96) measure 177 square feet each, while the 4 Superior cabins on the Cabo de Hornos and Tierra del Fuego Decks measure 220 square feet each. Bed configurations include twin or matrimonial, depending on the cabin.
