Ocean Atlantic is the ideal vessel for Antarctic expedition cruising. She is one of the most robust ships operating in Antarctica, rebuilt in 2016, and has an international ice class rating of 1B. Newly remodeled in 2016, the Ocean Atlantic boasts attractive common areas and 198 guestrooms. The ship was built in 1985 and extensively refurbished in 2010. She is 140 meters long has enough space on the various decks for several lecture halls, a comfortable restaurant serving 4-star world cuisine, professionally staffed bars, observation platforms, and even a pool.

Ocean Atlantic Cabins, Staterooms, and Suites
All private cabins are luxuriously outfitted and have private bathrooms, a phone for internal calls, climate controls, and televisions. The vessels' cabins can be found in sizes ranging from 11 to 35 square meters and have either portholes or windows, making them ideal for resting and entertaining.
Dining
The bright, airy restaurant serves contemporary cuisine deserving of a 4-star rating. All meals are served at the restaurant, which boasts breathtaking views. Breakfast and lunch are buffet-style, and dinner is provided a la carte. A skilled chef prepares all meals, including daily snacks. Coffee, tea, and water are included throughout the voyage; additional beverages can be purchased in the restaurant and bar. If you are not on board for lunch, a lunch bag will be prepared in the morning for you to take ashore. Tea and coffee will be served in the lounge in the afternoon. Midnight snacks are offered from 22:00H - 24:00H.
Onboard Amenities
Ocean Atlantic offers a wide range of onboard amenities and activities, including two bars that are well-stocked and well-staffed, a comfy lounge area, a library, a fitness center and wellness center, a licensed physician who runs the onboard clinic, theaters for lectures, laundry service, sauna & pool, onboard boutique, and an internet center. All passengers can enjoy the views from the deck's enormous panel windows. Passengers on the Erickson Deck may view passing whales, and other landscapes from the comfort of the ship's inside lounges, thanks to the deck's enormous panel windows.
