Day 1 Philipsburg, St. Maarten | Embark

Arrive in Philipsburg and board the Sea Cloud. Settle into your cabin and attend a welcome dinner as the ship sets sail.

Day 2 Gustavia, St. Barthelemy

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
St. Barthélemy, affectionately known as St. Barths by most, had already had many "owners" before the Lesser Antilles were acquired by France in 1877. In the 1950s, it became a refuge for the international jet set and an elegant holiday paradise for many Hollywood stars. For over 40 years, St. Barths has cultivated a luxurious lifestyle with a Caribbean laissez-faire approach. Stroll through the charming main town of Gustavia, whose beautifully restored houses and colonial facades look out over the sea with its elegant yachts, browse in the shops for precious items, or enjoy a sundowner in the picturesque harbor surrounded by clusters of high class bars and restaurants.

Day 3 At Sea

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Today relax aboard your ship as you sail to your next adventure.

Day 4 Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
On the island of Hispaniola, Columbus founded the first Spanish colony in America. Santo Domingo, the present capital of the Dominican Republic, is the oldest European-founded city in the New World. "Old" in the New World still means relatively young - it corresponds to Renaissance visions of the ideal, and was the model for many cities in Latin America. A visit to the historic old city is like a journey through time: the splendid stone buildings are remnants of the era of colonial conquests, and have been protected as UNESCO-designated World Heritage Sites.

Day 5-6 At Sea

  • Ship
  • 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners
Today relax aboard your ship as you sail to your next adventure.

Day 7 Port Antonio, Jamaica

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Port Antonio was once the world's banana capital, but has since been discovered and rebranded as a relaxing destination, with vacation properties found near the clear deep waters of the Blue Lagoon. The pretty little town, surrounded by sugar cane fields and banana plantations, impresses with its delightful beaches. The Rio Grande is the island's largest river and channels its course over 60 kilometers in green solitude through the jungle and into the sea. Historically, bananas and other fruit were carefully transported on bamboo rafts along the waterway to the port. Today the rafts have been equipped with bench seats and are used for excursions.

Day 8 Santiago de Cuba

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The El Morro fortress - once almost completely destroyed by the pirate Henry Morgan - towers high above the bay of Santiago de Cuba. This city is an architectural gem, and proud not only of its reputation as the birthplace of the revolution, but also of its musicality. If you go for a walk, sooner or later you will find yourself in an authentic Salsa bar. The whole city has music in its blood, and nowhere else do people make so much music or dance so much. The rhythms of the Salsa, Son and Rumba are just as thrilling in clubs, bars and schools as they are in the famous Buena Vista Social Club.

Day 9 At Sea

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Today relax aboard your ship as you sail to your next adventure.

Day 10-11 Cienfuegos, Cuba

  • Ship
  • 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners
Cienfuegos, whose name literally translates as "Hundred fires," is also known as the Pearl of the South. The city owes its grand, romantic architecture to the French colonists who first settled there. The beautiful old town of Trinidad de Cuba is a true gem, with lovingly restored colonial facades, sleepy lanes and a turquoise sea. This friendly town, with its important past as the center of sugar cane cultivation, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site for many years, along with the cultivated landscape of the Valle de Los Ingenios, or "Valley of the Sugarmills."

Day 12 Maria la Gorda, Cuba

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Maria la Gorda was once a place for corsairs and pirates to rest up. Today, enjoy the wonderful swimming or take a long walk along the beach. The highlights are all about the water: remote picture-postcard beaches with shady palms, a warm, calm sea that radiates every shade of blue, and a coral reef which provides the ideal conditions for snorkeling.

Day 13 At Sea

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Today relax aboard your ship as you sail to your next adventure.

Day 14 Havana, Cuba

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
With its beautiful balconies, wrought iron railings and idyllic inner courtyards, a stroll through Old Havana brings you right to the heart of life in the city. Old American limousines cruise past magnificent colonial buildings on the wide boulevards, and the Malecón Promenade is a popular place to walk at sunset. In the legendary Tropicana club, where stars like Frank Sinatra and Josephine Baker once appeared on stage, the flamboyant, high-spirited shows still create the same mood today as they did when it opened in 1939.

Day 15 Havana, Cuba | Disembark

After breakfast, disembark the ship for your journey home.
