Day 1: Cotopaxi National Park

Drive along Ecuador’s famed Avenue of the Volcanoes, surrounded by towering peaks and dramatic highland landscapes. Enter Cotopaxi National Park, where the iconic, glacier-capped Cotopaxi Volcano dominates the horizon. Ascend by vehicle to the parking area, then tackle a rewarding hike to the José Rivas Refuge, perched at 15,958 feet (4,864 meters). Take in sweeping views of the Andean highlands and the volcano’s icy slopes.

Descend to Limpiopungo Lake to walk along its shores, spot native flora and fauna, and watch for the soaring Andean condor. Continue the journey through lush green mountains to Baños de Agua Santa, a lively town famous for waterfalls, hot springs, and outdoor adventures, set at the foot of the active Tungurahua Volcano.

Day 2: Baños Full Day

Wake to the lush green mountains of Baños calling you to explore. Whether seeking thrilling landscapes, a peaceful retreat, or the rush of chasing waterfalls, Baños offers experiences for every traveler. Your guide will customize the day to your interests, managing every detail for a seamless and unforgettable journey through this vibrant paradise.

Day 3: Quilota Crater Lake | Return to Quito

After breakfast, you’ll leave Baños de Agua Santa behind and head toward the Illinizas Ecological Reserve, home to the stunning Quilotoa Lagoon.

On the way, stop in Tigua, a small village famous for its vibrant naïve-style art, showcased in colorful paintings, masks, and handicrafts. Nestled in the mountains, the community proudly shares its artistic heritage with you.

As you continue through deep canyons, towering mountains, and remote indigenous villages, the Andean landscape unfolds before you. Finally, reach Quilotoa Crater Lake, a mesmerizing natural wonder. The lake’s vivid turquoise waters shift in the light, creating an ever-changing display of color. From the panoramic lookout, enjoy expansive views, or hike along the crater rim for even more breathtaking perspectives. If you’re feeling adventurous, descend to the lake's edge to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of this extraordinary place. A perfect end to an unforgettable journey!
