Begin your journey down the Pichincha Volcano with an amazing descent. Spectacular vistas of steep gorges and slopes shrouded in thick vegetation may be seen from the 3-4 hour downhill ride. Stop for a snack at a roadside rest stop. Arrive back in Quito in the late afternoon or early evening.
