Depart in the morning from Quito and drive towards the Cotopaxi National Park. Ascend to El Parqueadero (15180ft/4600m). After the visit, descend a bit by vehicle before starting the mountain biking adventure with an exciting downhill track on the slopes of Cotopaxi Volcano. Admire the stunning landscape during the descent to the Limpiopungo Valley, followed by a cross-country ride through the bed of an old landslide formed by lava and mud flows from past volcanic eruptions. You will ride by old ruins dating back to the Inca and have lunch en-route. Arrive to the Hacienda El Porvenir and transfer back to Quito.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
