DISCOVERY: Touring Porto via tram and visiting the tram museum. Leave from Vila Nova de Gaia by coach for downtown Porto. Once you arrive, board one of the city’s trams and partake in this urban-tourism experience all the way to the mouth of the Douro. Finish up your excursion with a tasting of some of the local specialties.
CLASSIC: Visit of Guimaraes. Leave by coach from Porto for Guimarães. With your guide, begin the tour of this university town on foot to discover its historical treasures.
DISCOVERY: Hiking to Vila Nova de Gaïa and tasting of some of the local wines

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
