You will begin your adventure at the dock in Strasbourg. Leave by coach for Basel and board the ship at 6 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, be introduced to the crew at a welcome cocktail. Tonight, enjoy dinner and an evening of activities on board. Remain in port in Basel for the night.

Spend the morning exploring Basel. Discover the city’s old town and its various passages and medieval monuments such as the cathedral—the city’s hallmark—the marketplace, and the bright red town hall. Spend the afternoon cruising to Breisach and enjoy an Alsatian-themed evening on board.

Join an excursion on the Alsatian Wine Route (lunch included). The first stop will be Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, enjoy a guided tour plunging us into life during the Middle Ages. Once you cross over the drawbridge, you’ll find yourself in fully furnished and decorated living quarters surrounded by collections of medieval weapons. Afterward, travel along the Alsatian Wine Route and stop at a wine cellar for a tasting*. The afternoon will be dedicated to a guided tour of Strasbourg. A panoramic tour will first introduce you to all the highlights the city has to offer. Then continue on foot to visit the famous, single-belfry cathedral, crossing through the Petite France area lined with canals and half-timbered houses. 

Join an excursion to Heidelberg, the most romantic city in Germany. Then spend the afternoon cruising to Rüdesheim. The famous Drosselgasse with its numerous cafés, bars, and music awaits you tonight!

Spend the morning cruising the romantic Rhine River. The ship will pass by numerous castles, the legendary rock of the Lorelei, picturesque villages, and the seemingly never-ending vineyards. In the afternoon, set out on a guided tour of Koblenz and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Located at the crossroads of the Rhine and Moselle Regions, and surrounded by several mountain peaks, Koblenz is a rich mosaic of culture and history. Take the funicular railway up the hill to visit the historic castle, where you'll have a magnificent view across the city and valleys. You’ll immediately understand the strategical importance of this fortress throughout history for the horizon stretches as far as the eye can see. Afterward, cruise to Pommern. Tonight is the festive gala evening.

Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking and taking a guided tour of Cochem Castle. Return to Strasbourg by coach.
