Day 1 Lyon | Embark

Board the MS Mistral at 4:00 p.m. in Lyon, at the Quai Claude Bernard. Settle in your cabin and attend to the crew introduction over a welcome cocktail. Enjoy a delightful dinner followed by an evening of entertainment.

Day 2 Arles | The Camargue

Spend the morning cruising through the landscapes of the south of France. Pass through Valence, with Saint Apollinaire and Montélimar, famous for its nougat. Then cruise through the Bollène lock, which raises and lowers boats 20 meters (66 feet) for navigating the Rhône River, a major civil engineering project of the 1950s. Arrive in Arles and join an excursion to the Camargue. Visit this exceptional area where the sea, wetlands and ponds are inhabited by an extraordinary variety of bird life. Enjoy some free time to visit the village of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. In the evening take part on a guided tour of Arles, a mecca for tourism and culture.

Day 3 Avignon | Viviers, The Ardèche Gorges

This morning cruise to Avignon for a guided tour of the City of Popes, a citadel surrounded by ramparts and perched on a rocky outcropping over the river. Then cruise to Roquemaure and join an excursion by coach to visit the Ardèche gorges and to discover the Pont d'Arc Cavern, a replica of Chauvet Cave. Get back on board in Saint-Etienne-des-Sorts and depart for Viviers. Tonight enjoy a deligfthful dinner on board. 

Day 4 Tain L'hermitage (the Vercors)

Spend the morning cruising to La Voulte. In the afternoon, set off on an excursion to the Vercors and visit a wine cellar for a wine tasting of the famous Clairette de Die. Return on board at Tain l'Hermitage and enjoy your gala evening while you cruise to Lyon.

Day 5 Lyon | Disembark

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before you arrive in Lyon around 9:00 a.m. and disembark.
