Passengers are welcome to board MS Raymonde at 6.00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, you will be introduced to the crew before a traditional ‘Titi Parisen' show on board. You'll remain in port overnight at the very heart of Paris.
Spend this morning cruising along the Canal Saint Martin through the very heart of districts that are so typical of the "real Paris”, all the way to the Eiffel Tower. The boat will pass through a tunnel, resurfacing near République, as the canal opens out onto wide avenues lined with ancient trees. Travel up the Seine, cruising past the Trocadero gardens, Tuileries Park, and Ile Saint Louis. The afternoon is dedicated to a guided tour of Paris. During the excursion, see the the capital's major must-see sites such as République, the large boulevards, the Opera, the Madeleine, the Place Vendôme and the Louvre. Starting from the Palais-Royal, take a walk through the prettiest covered arcades in Paris. Not only do they serve as shortcuts for pedestrians, but Shiseido, JP Gauthier, Stella Mac Cartney and many more adorn it with luxury and extravangance. Cruise through Paris at night (depending on water levels.)
Remain in port overnight at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
Join the tour of Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
