Discover Sete, known as the ‘Little Venice of Languedoc’
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Nice lies in one of the world's most lavishly endowed natural landscapes. The sea glows azure and the mountains in the background rise picturesquely up into the sky. The Castle Hill gives you a fantastic view over the rambling old town - a labyrinth of alleyways with Baroque churches, pastel-colored houses, and red-tiled roofs. The Promenade des Anglais, a sophisticated, 5 km (3 miles) long walkway along the magnificent Baie des Anges and its long beach, lies at the heart of the elegant new town, with its splendid palaces and aristocratic hotels in the Belle-Époque and Art Deco styles.
Hunkered below impossibly high cliffs, Cassis is an unpretentious port town that gives travelers a sunny break from their busy vacation. Come to Cassis to dine at portside, swim in the glimmering-clear water, and explore its rocky inlets.
Sète is sometimes called the ‘Little Venice of Languedoc’ – a reference to the many canals that run through the town. If you like seafood, this is the place to indulge: Sète sports restaurants galore cooking up sea urchins, sardines, cuttlefish and myriad coquillages (shellfish).
With its mix of real-city grit, year-round sunshine, old-world opulence, stunning seaside location, and vibrant street life, there's no place in France that compares with Nice.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
