Hotel Qaqortoq

Hotel Qaqortoq sits on the rocks above the harbor in Qaqortoq, South Greenland. The town’s colored houses rise on the hills behind it, and the hotel looks out over the harbor and the icebergs in the fjord. The hotel presents itself as a base for exploring the south of the country and serves both leisure travelers and business groups. It has 45 rooms and apartments and a conference center. Greenlandic art is displayed throughout the building, and local residents often meet in the brasserie. The hotel is part of Greenland Hotels by Topas.

Rooms & Suites
The hotel has 45 units in three types: single rooms, double rooms, and apartments. Depending on the room, windows face either the harbor or the town center. Single and double rooms have a flat-screen TV with local, Danish, and international channels, a radio, a desk, and a welcome tray with coffee, tea, and cocoa. Bathrooms have black and white tile. An extra bed for one person is available on request in most rooms.

Hotel Amenities & Facilities
The hotel has one restaurant and one bar. Brasserie H.Q serves salads, pizza, burgers, and steaks, and the Lounge Bar has harbor views and a selection of drinks. Breakfast is included with single and double rooms. The conference center has a main venue that seats up to 110 people in rows. It can be divided into two smaller spaces, each seating about 75 people. There are also three meeting rooms of different sizes for 8 to 24 people each. The center has multimedia, internet, and audiovisual equipment. Conference packages are available with or without accommodation and can include lunch. Pets are welcome in the apartments for a fee.
