Camp Kiattua

Camp Kiattua is set among some of the oldest mountains on Earth, where steep granite walls drop into calm fjords and quiet coastlines. There are no roads or houses in the area, and the camp hosts no more than 10 guests at a time. It operates from June to September, and from mid-August guests have a chance to see the Northern Lights. Each stay runs with a private guide, and the daily plan is adjusted to the weather. Meals focus on local Greenlandic ingredients, including herbs, berries, and mushrooms foraged around the camp. The operator describes the camp’s tent accommodations as eco-friendly.

Rooms & Suites
Guests stay in canvas suites with canvas walls, warm natural materials, and soft lighting. Beds can be set up as a double or twin, with premium bedding and two duvets per guest. Each suite has sitting chairs and side tables, heating, and electricity for lighting and charging devices. There is no floor heating. Wi-Fi is included. Suites come with sleeping masks, drinking water, light snacks, towels, bathrobes, insect repellent, and after-bite lotion. Hair dryers are not provided. Nights are cool even in summer.

Hotel Amenities & Facilities
All meals are served at camp, and house wine and soft drinks are included. Dinners feature local and foraged ingredients. Guests can use an outdoor Arctic hot tub and gather at the bonfire area in the evening. A private guide accompanies each stay, and 24/7 emergency support is available. Transfers to and from Nuuk Airport are included, along with boat transfers on the scheduled transfer days, Mondays and Fridays.
