Most people have heard about the “Aurora Borealis”, but not many have seen it with their own eyes. The time between September and March offers the best chance to witness this phenomenon. Another focus of this unique tour is the maritime life. Lots of different whale species spend September along the shores of Northern Iceland. Once the Ocean Diamond has reached the harbor of Akureyri you can look forward to an exciting bus tour through the highlands of Iceland back to Reykjavik.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
