Located in the sprawling countryside just outside of Vík, the Hotel Dyrholaey is a beautifully positioned hotel along Iceland's southern coast. In 1933 this hotel was just a small guesthouse with six rooms, yet the stunning landscape of the Dyrhólaey peninsula and Mýrdalur has attracted more and more visitors, enabling the Dyrholaey to grow as a result.
Today, Hotel Dyrholaey features 88 rooms, all equipped with private facilities, WiFi, televisions, electric kettle, hair dryer and phones. The hotel is ideally positioned along the Ring Road, an excellent jumping point to explore the surrounding landscape.
Enjoy meals in the large dining room, overlooking the scenic bay.

Kate was great to work with in the planning stage. She was prompt, helpful, and efficient. Our tour guide, Edwin, was knowledgeable and passionate. We were very happy to have traveled with Adventure Life, it made the trip easy and a true pleasure. We could concentrate on enjoying the experience rather than the details of travel.
