The Serai was built in a large, open space overlooking the Nilgiris Mountain. Situated 3 km from Bandipur National Park, the property is 80 km from Mysore Railway Station. Featuring wooden flooring, a personal safe, a wardrobe, and each contemporary air-conditioned room offers mountain views and a private bathroom with hot/cold showers and a hairdryer.
Bandipur is a haven for a variety of wildlife like tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild boars, etc. The jungle is also home to numerous birds like pompadour green pigeons, grey jungle fowls, Nilgiri flycatchers, Malabar pied hornbills, and more. In addition, the spectacular view of the Nilgiris mountain range from The Serai makes it an enthralling holiday destination. The best time to visit is from October to June. However, travel during the monsoons is wonderful as the deciduous jungle is at its greenest then.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
