RAAS Chhatrasagar draws on the Rajput tradition of the royal field camp as the foundation for its design approach. Tents are constructed as permanent, soundproofed structures finished with Jodhpur stone, teak furniture, and skylights, with a contemporary aesthetic in soft, muted tones. A dedicated walkway connects each tent while maintaining privacy and preserving unobstructed lake views. The property places strong emphasis on its natural setting: the lake and surrounding grasslands support over 250 bird species, observable from almost anywhere on site. The founders prioritize sensitivity in any development decisions, with ongoing focus on rewilding, local farming communities, and working with naturalists who lead guests through the farm, local temples, and village outskirts. Meals are prepared using organic produce from the property's own garden, following age-old family recipes.

All 16 tents face east over the lake and are fitted with air conditioning and heating, making them suitable for year-round use. Tent categories include standard, luxury, and family configurations. Each tent includes a private sit-out with panoramic lake views, modern amenities, and a private bathtub.
