Taj Hotel - Fateh Prakash Palace

It was built by Maharana Fateh Singh as a venue for royal events and hosting princely dignitaries. The original palace décor has been meticulously maintained, from miniature paintings and armory to royal heirlooms and furniture straight off toshakhanas (royal storerooms). The palace where once the Maharanas of Mewar held court is located on the eastern shores of the picturesque Lake Pichola.
