Mara Bushtops

Mara Bushtops opened in 2007 as the first Bushtops camp, set at 1,800 m (5,906 ft) on a hillside within the Isaaten Conservancy. The conservancy operates through a leasehold partnership with 318 Maasai landowners and is exclusive to camp guests, allowing night drives, off-road safaris and guided walks. Twenty-five scouts patrol the area, supported by EarthRanger wildlife monitoring. A natural salt lick attracts wildlife near the restaurant and spa. The camp uses solar power, recycles filtered wastewater and grows herbs and vegetables in its kitchen garden. It also supports Nkoilale School, serving around 800 children.

Rooms & Suites
Each tent opens on three sides toward sunrise and overlooks the conservancy. More than 100 sq m (1,076 sq ft) of private decking includes a hot tub. Interiors feature modern African décor, signature bedding, a writing desk, power and Wi-Fi. Fully netted tents have en-suite bathrooms with double sinks, indoor and outdoor showers, and pressurized spring water. A 24-hour butler service and evening mosquito treatment are provided.

The restaurant serves à la carte, vegetarian, vegan and local dishes, with flexible dining times and locations. A wine cellar beneath the restaurant features international selections. Amani Spa offers massages, hydrotherapy and organic treatments, alongside a sauna, Rasul steam room, jacuzzi, heated and plunge pools, relaxation deck and gym. The infinity pool features water jets and an Orion constellation design. Laundry and fully inclusive rates are available.
