Ol Lentille

Ol Lentille opened in 2007 on Kijabe community land and was later expanded through partnerships with neighboring Maasai and Samburu communities. The resulting unfenced 40,000-acre (16,187-ha) conservation area is patrolled by community rangers, with conservation fees supporting four landowning communities, 12 schools and a hospital. Set above 1,900 m (6,230 ft) in Laikipia, the lodge overlooks Mount Kenya, Ololokwe, the Matthews Range and Mount Lentille. With just four villas, it offers private game drives, walks and dining.

Rooms & Suites
Standalone villas accommodate two to six guests, each with personal house staff and a Maasai guide. Contemporary African interiors reflect local trees and plants. Bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms, while each villa includes a lounge, dining area and private deck or terrace. Two villas have plunge pools and two have fireplaces. Carissa, Acacia and Boscia include a private 4x4 safari vehicle. Full-board meals can be served in the villa or at a chosen location.

Hotel Amenities & Facilities
The Gallery, a rock-built rotunda, houses a library, board games, fireplace and rooftop deck for cocktails, private dining and stargazing. An infinity pool overlooks two elephant-frequented watering holes, while a separate deck hosts private meals. The spa offers massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, including couples and in-villa treatments. Boma dinners are available. Laundry is included for stays of two nights or more, as are Ol Lentille airstrip transfers. Families can book a private villa; children under five stay free when sharing with parents, and childcare can be arranged during activities.
