Villa Sylvestre

Villa Sylvestre is a family residence built in 1920 in traditional Malagasy architecture. The same family has kept it for three generations. The house stands on Rue Pasteur in the Tambohobe area of central Fianarantsoa, in the Betsileo highlands. It is built from local materials and furnished with both modern and period pieces, which gives the rooms and common areas a warm, quiet feel that combines old and new. Floral arrangements decorate the terrace at the entrance, and a large panoramic terrace looks out over Fianarantsoa. The town’s Côte Est railway station is a short walk away.

The guesthouse has spacious, bright rooms decorated in a warm, quiet style that mixes modern and traditional elements. Each room has Wi-Fi, a television, an in-room safe and a minibar.
