Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
After breakfast, head down the valley to the city of Marrakech, where you will be guided in exploring this medieval capital of Morocco across old fountains, Koran schools, and historical gates. You will visit an old bakery, taste the local bread, and see the furnace that heats the public steam bath. Discover the hidden quarters, the old caravanserais, and different artisan workshops.
In the afternoon, a delightful walking tour inside the colorful Souks in the Medina of Marrakech. This experience will offer you a feast for your senses as you taste some local produce, smell the fragrance of the local spices and oils, touch the texture of the local fabrics, see the colorful markets, and listen to the sounds of everyday life in this world of its own. End your day by exploring the famous square of Jemaa El Fna with your guide to discover the local entertainment and authentic activities.
The desert of Agafay is 40 km (35 minutes) from Marrakech and has a microclimate whose climatic conditions are similar to those of the Sahara desert. There are no dunes here; instead, the landscape is a mineral desert with soothing relief and, in particular, a breathtaking view provided by the Atlas Mountains in the distance. A wonderful moment of discovery and adventure can transform your everyday life.
On this day, take a round-trip through the lush and dramatic Atlas landscapes for an unforgettable Berber experience and an eye-opening, hands-on adventure. You will bake bread and prepare tagine in the kitchen of a village family and get to know them better over a pot of traditional mint.
While your tagine is simmering on the stove, take a walk through the alleyways to explore the village, meet locals, and discover ancestral activities still maintained by the locals. You will assist farmers in their daily tasks, such as irrigating fields, herding sheep, or simply cutting grass. Along the way, you will visit local artisans in their workshops to learn firsthand how local crafts are made and to gain enough knowledge about the tools and methods required for top-notch craftsmanship.
Start your journey and travel to Essaouira after breakfast by taking an easy road across Marrakech's western plains. The most fascinating excursion from Marrakech is this one, which travels through the Argan forest and through a charming region on the Atlantic coast where local women make the well-known Moroccan oil.
In the Afternoon, the walking tour will take you to the colorful spice markets, old fortresses, and the busy port. Discover the traditional cabinet making by the local artisans and visit some painting art galleries. Then you will have some time at leisure to enjoy a walk on the beach or shop in the old part of the city.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).

The response from Adventure Life to my first inquiry was prompt and promising. I worked with Jamie Broeckel, Trip Planner, via text, email, and phone calls- always extremely responsive and thorough with information and explaining the process to arrange a private tour for me to Malaysia Borneo. Within about week, the booking was complete and I made decisions because of Jamie's great customer service , friendly manner, and overall competence on behalf of the company's travel expertise. Now I have an itinerary, additional Trip Planner Assistants, several links for vital information for traveling to Maylasia, etc. Still many details for Sept. trip, but now the heavy lifting is done and I can enjoy the rest of the anticipation and research!! Thanks Jamie- you are amazing!!!!

The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
