Coral Lodge

Coral Lodge occupies a peninsula in northern Mozambique, with Indian Ocean beaches on one side and a sea lagoon, mangroves, and marshland on the other. The lodge has ten villas, divided between beach-facing and lagoon-facing positions, and its main gathering area is a coral-rock deck overlooking the beach. The lodge describes its approach as family-style hospitality with a local character. Most staff are employed locally and trained in-house. Ilha de Moçambique, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is close by, and the surrounding area includes mangrove forest and local communities.

Rooms & Suites
Each villa has a large open-plan bedroom with a lounge area, finished in natural decor with modern fittings. Villas open onto a wide front veranda with sun loungers and face either the beach or the lagoon. Cooling is provided by ceiling fans and an Evening Breeze System, and Wi-Fi is available.

Hotel Amenities & Facilities
The lodge has a restaurant with a menu built around fresh local ingredients and Mozambican cuisine. The coral-rock deck overlooking the beach serves as the main lounge area and is used for drinks. Facilities include a swimming pool, and guests can take beach walks along the peninsula at their own pace. The lodge provides daily transfers to Ilha de Moçambique. Children of all ages are welcome.
